Naples Botanical Garden Visitor Center

This project consists of multiple buildings constructed within a 160-acre botanical garden. The new facilities included Ticketing and Administrative Offices, an Event/Multi-Purpose Space, a Cafe and a Retail Store. These buildings were connected with boardwalks and covered walkways. Lighting played a key role by visually integrating the 14,000 sq. ft. of conditioned space with the natural surroundings and special garden areas. The low brightness lighting design creates a dynamic and visually interesting nighttime garden environment that is also very comfortable. Through the use of high efficiency LED lamps and luminaires, the lighting systems were able to meet the projects aggressive energy goals. Programmable lighting controls also play a key role in reducing overall energy consumption and allow for flexibility with garden viewing and after-hours events.
