Moyer Student Union Center

The UNLV Student Union center, completed in 2006 serves as the hub for students on the Las Vegas campus. A ballroom and pre-function space along with outdoor balconies provide for a wide variety of program activities. A 300 person theater, classrooms, computer labs, meeting rooms, retail and food court provide students and the public with diverse resources for life’s daily needs. Low voltage lighting controls such as programmable relay panels, daylight sensors, occupancy sensors and programmable timers along with a low connect lighting load provide an energy efficient electric lighting system. Architectural daylighting controls provide shade from the intense Las Vegas sun, but allow for  adequate daylight in many of the program spaces.
